While I do agree with your sentiment Thomas, the volitile nature of the sitituation is the reason why there's a lack of information. Of course i'm not privy to leadership, but, to be honest, there's a lot we're not exactly sure. Is there an attack planned? Was that just rumor? What do we do next? How many will they bring? We just being paranoid?

I think, as are immediate future of our city becomes clear in the coming days - it will become clear as to the direction of KGB, and the need for keeping the nature of sensative information secure.
