Just set weed under the same set of regs that tobacco falls under. Will some ppl grow their own? Sure. Will not help Fed problem, as it would and should be a State level issue. Could also regulate and tax it like alchohol. Either way.

It should be legal, because making it illegal does not seriously effect usage levels... it just costs a fuckton of tax money and public resources investigating, prosecuting and jailing offenders.

Keeping it criminalized also inordinately funds organized crime, and is a corrupting factor on law enforcement.

Pot use cant be stopped, it just cant. Whether it should be or not is moot and irrelevant. Keeping it criminalized is simply more hassle and expense than it is worth.
