That's because its the most published version of the bible short of the Gideion's version. The King James version is not a Catholic Bible, its a Church of England bible translated in the early 1600's, and written to support the King Henry VIII corruption of the church to fit his and his ordained ministers view of a early European (Protestant) slant on the original text's contained in the one and only Holy Bible, translated into Latin by St. Jerome in 383AD.

Even then it wasn't the "Holy Bible" until the Council of Carthage in 397AD, when the first list of "cannon" was published which listed all the books of the old testament (taken from the Torah) and the new testament (taken from the "autograph" written by the original apostle's).

Sweet babi jebus, I hate ignorant people. This is why there is a fundamental difference between Christians and Catholics. Those people are Christians, if you want to know the litany, dogma, and cannon of The one, the only, and forever "The Church" then ask an educated Catholic.
