I don't feel like wading through all the forum drama, so I am staying out of this forum. Can someone, anyone who is in charge send me PM when PS2 releases and tells me what role (any) and what server (if there are more than one) to roll on.

I want to play PS2, I don't want to play PS2 forum drama (hey, even I have standards).

well if there is any drama it most certainly is coming from those more committed to their own perspective then the guilds or the factions. We want drama free, but there are some who continually push how they feel and what they personally think to the point of causing unnecessary drama on their own. In closing if there is any drama here it is coming from those too obsessed with causing it and less so about participating in the faction, I suggest you show up to the monthly meetings, read the information available, take part in planetside 1 training, step up and contribute positive interaction and encouragement. If you have a good idea post it, if you need clarification ask for it, but don't come here with a poor attitude and expect us to go soft on you and engage you in some other KGBers idea of fun on the oracle, that of forum warrior. If that alienates you as some have suggested then perhaps planetside 2 will be too rough for you then and the challenge too great, that's okay we understand there will be a lot of people unwilling or to upset to participate, and we also know that with success comes those who will jump on the band wagon, the glory and victory for those will be much less, but for those there from the beginning the glory and victory laurels will be never ending.

This has been a drama-free, public service, back handed slap at all those with the audacity to disagree with anything ever done by the current leadership.

Just because some of us don't agree with everything you do, doesn't mean that when the rubber meets the road we won't back you up completely. It is much more productive for us to get this kind of thing out of the way now, rather than on the battlefield where it will only cause strife i.e. some of the Darkfall escapades.

I understand and applaud your desire to run the faction like a military unit. However, there is one major difference between this collection of friends and a military unit. We've not all spent the last 3 months in boot camp having the individuality beaten out of us. So, you'll have to keep in mind that (at least until the bullets start flying) you may well have to justify your decisions to those of us who may have a different perspective. If you get your feelings hurt every time you're asked to defend a decision, then this is going to be a long road. However, if you choose to rule by fiat from the get go, rather than listen until it is time to lead, then I sincerely hope that in your pursuit of greatness you don't alienate those who would be the vehicle that gets you get there.

and this is why I find the poor attitudes toward the faction, it's leadership and those who have made the commitment to participate disturbing. It is a poor example for any KGBer to set, and one I recall me and Tasorin being called on...but it's okay when the other kids do it, because they are somehow cooler then we were.

Nah what is going on here is my "feelings" aren't hurt at all, I as well as others have made the commitment to play, and do whatever it takes to win, others are still kicking around the idea and are looking to tear down any confidence or aspirations we have, 99% of winning is attitude people, the rest is skill. Games like life is always going to be unpredictable, thus we can only hope for the best and plan for the worst. The truth will be known eventually and if the Faction falls dead on it's face then I am more than ready to accept the blame, it can be no other, however it's bad enough talking as such without it needing to be so.
