Andruk, Agon – Yesterday, at around 6 PM Eastern Standard Time, alliance forces of The Knights of glory and Beer, Mortis Consortium, Head Hunters and The Ancient Order engaged in a multi-siege night that included a defensive siege at the Brutality controlled city of Aradoth, a hamlet defense at Eslinger, and a friendly city transfer at Longmarch.

KGB Military Commander General Morlander confirmed an engagement night that included nearly 10 sieges across Agon, including heavy investments of Large Siege Stones, multiple ships, and a massive bombardment of city assets at Longmarch.

“We’re going to be porting into a shitstorm,” says General Morlander at one stage of the engagement.

The night began at Aradoth, where KGB forces amassed with a combat force that included elements of TAO, MC and HH, at two large siege stones that were strategically planted in the middle of an Elf Wraith’s mob camp. Waiting for nearly an hour with no clear enemy in sight, KGB forces massed around the siege stones in preparation for the start of the bane.

“This could be either a secondary location or a decoy siege,” General Morlander recalled during the long wait.

Amid the marshaled forces, KGB Military Commanders began to receive reports on an LOD engagement at their hamlet, off the coast, of a battle that included two large Brigs and ground forces that threatened to overwhelm the defenders. The call was made to port in using pre-planned transports, of which, only 10 were available in such a short span of time.

“I’m going to be taking our 10 best characters right now.” Military Commander General Morlander said at the onset of the call to aid LOD.

General Morlander, faced with the decision between two large sieges, decided to split our forces in two; one to take care of the siege stones, and the other to aid LOD in their battle. With the help of pre-planned runestones, KGB forces recalled back to Andruk, knowing full well that they were about to port into a hell hole. As KGB was waiting for people to re-gear, reports soon flooded in from the front lines of massive forces engaging within the hamlet itself.

When asked in Clan Alliance of the situation KGB was about to be porting into, they were simply uttered the word, “Chaos.”

With KGB hearts beating a mile a minute, donning in their best gear; KGB forces ported our 10 best on a single command … to find themselves stuck atop a hill overlooking the northern approach to the hamlet, with a huge battle between LOD and allies against the opposing forces that were RIGHT below them. With MC, HH and TAO groups porting simultaneously, KGB forces plunged headlong into the battle, forcing the enemy toward the shore, where they discovered a pitched battle between two opposing brigands.

Master Knight Syloc deKGB describes the event …

Quote:
“We found ourselves strewn amid a chaos of allied forces, all rushing, in mass, around a huge mountain-face that blocked our view of the water. As we turned the corner, we were faced with not one, but two huge brigands, each with at least a dozen or so crew on board, and each firing their cannons at a rapid pace. I remember General Morlander calling for us to charge the boat, as crazy as that sounded, but we soon found ourselves plunging headlong into the waters. Shoulder to shoulder with alliance forces, we rifled up our spells and began blasting arrows and fireballs at a flurrying pace, not letting up until we began to board the boat itself.”

Mortis Consortium commanders described the event later saying, “I got into that boat, and went straight to the backroom where I killed like 4 of them. It was insane.”

At this point of the battle, the opposing boat crew, realizing their mistake, panicked and desperately tried to sail away, making it only inches before Allied forces was able to dispatch the driver, and completely overtake the ship, sailing away and leaving a dozen or so enemy Alfar, Human, Maharim and Dwarves in the water, stranded from the only chance of escape.

As the boat sailed away, KGB forces found themselves surrounded by a dozen or so random enemy forces who had just been abandoned to fend for themselves. KGB forces, almost instantly, lost two of their 10 at the initial onset, but then regrouped and proceeded to slaughter the remaining scattered forces of the enemy, scoring kill shots on at least a dozen enemies in the water, and weakening or driving off nearly the same number, who paddled as far away as their legs could carry them. Regrouping on the shore after the battle, we tallied the dead and, amid the 10 who ported over to the battle, our only casualties were the two we lost at the initial onset, and in both cases, we were able to recover their go bags.

All and all, a success … but a success that was not over yet.

The call was soon made for a friendly transfer at Longmarch, which KGB saw, arrived and stood alert, all the way to completion. However, on the port back to Andruk, the call was made by allies that a force of at least 30 retaliation was on route to Longmarch in response to the alliance’s help to LOD. Take a couple of minutes to gather our forces, KGB arrived at the scene where MC, HH and TAO had routed the enemy force back into a nearby enemy hamlet.

What proceeded was a pitched cloud of spells, arrows and blood that went back and forth among set battle lines between a nearby swamp and the hamlet, culminating in a battle tactic in which Allied forces baited in the attackers toward the swamp, then, cleanly, wiped them out. Taking the advantage, Allied forces pushed into the hamlet itself, pushing straight to their stone and, in the midst of guard towers hitting us left and right, decapitated and ganked the remnants – whom included such vaulted KGB enemies such as UDA and Bridgeburner uDa.

Allied Commanders, seeing that there was little left but respawning nakeds, called for the pull out, and KGB mounted up and did just that.

A good day for KGB and allies, and a battle that has only just begun.
