Shall we factor in his electricity cost ?

< math >

Let's assume a 300 watt draw on each computer. The
average system draws 200 watts at idle and can pull
much more than that when doing heavy gaming. But 300
is a nice average number. As your power requirements
go up, so does your cost. You folks with SLI setups
and a 1000 watt power supply take note. . . . .

We'll also assume he runs these a minimum of four hours
per day. With a maximum of six hours per day. For a
weekly range of 28 - 42 hours per week. ( This is on the
low range for a hardcore gamer ) I have some friends that
put 60 - 80 hours PER WEEK into gaming. Friggin nuts. . .

Let's calculate this using my own electricity rates
of 15 cents / KwH. ( Deregulation SUCKS btw )

Each system will cost 4.5 cents / hour to run so
after multiplying it by eleven of the power hungry
bastages, we get 49.5 cents for all eleven machines
per hour to run.

49.5 cents / hour * 4 hours = $1.98 ( minimum day )
49.5 cents / hour * 6 hours = $2.97 ( maximum day )

Over a thirty day billing cycle, the computers alone
will add the following to the monthly light bill.
( Don't forget to add the Air Conditioning requirements
to keep 3300 watts cooled off )

Four hours / day run time: $59.40 / month ( $712.80 / year )
Six hours / day run time: $89.10 / month ( $1069.20 / year )
