Originally they had planned to do a typical beta process by clans. However, now they have gone with a closed professional beta (which is what console game manufacturers do). All in all, it means they should have a much more thorough beta than most MMOs have. They might still do an open beta afterward, but it's unknown as of yet. Former KGB Member
