Quite a few guys who I haven't seen around on the boards forever. I bet though if games comes around that they will resurface.

Yeah. Plus I think one of the other BoS guys will take his account, and they all share it - was my take, is why I havent removed him.

Hyd, I havent talked to him - afaik he still plans on playing DFO with KGB, if I found out differently for sure maybe I will re evaluate.

As for the extras, there is no limit - so if they go awol, not a huge deal.

Yeah we'll see what happens with Bishop. He'll be back in February, but supposedly DF will be OUT by the end of the year, so beta within the next four months. Like Derid said back when he formed the list though, anyone who can't use up the spot in the primary list will make way for secondaries. I'm really the only active BoS right now, so whatever, if Bishop is still away, just give his spot to Heidi (I'm assuming it's first come first serve for the secondaries.)

Yes, have been on it for years. The guild will not play the game, but they will have a lot of people in beta. Its is like a free beta spot.

Derid there are several members on that list who haven't been around in KGB for awhile. They are on the secondary list. I don't know if you plan to do preference on the extras for those who are currently active in KGB I can send you the list of names.

Also you have Zhou on that list and I don't think that he'll be in KGB for darkfall.

Your probably right, but you never know. Secondary list is unlimited, so it really doesnt hurt anything to keep people on it.

Primary list is limited to twelve people, the extended list has an unlimited amount. You are on the extended list, which I havent posted an update on yet.

I'll get around to it soon.

Primary list was filled, and queued years ago - though it looks like it might not matter in the end, they might not even do a "clan beta" and just have regular beta... so.. we will see.

The list was done several YEARS ago - based on who replied to the initial thread when I was trying to get people to sign up. Its took two weeks to just get twelve, and I was cajoling everyone in vent to get me the info!

The only two additions are Dunlop, and Heidi ( Replacing Hydr who left the guild and Bishop who will be unavailable )
and I think it would be difficult to find anyone with more seniority than those two.

Or we can go by who was signed up with Darkfall fourms first.

JK the list is fine. I would like to see the people testing that can be on the most amount of time before release. More info on how the game works the better.

I'd be curious to see if we could get a group together that would be willing to compile a brief guide to the start of the game.

We should give priority to those who could dedicate the most time to previewing the game for us, as to provide a service to the guild. (Not that I have the time to volunteer for any of that...)

Getting into beta early because you were chosen to represent your guild is a responsibility and a privilege.

I have no particular qualms with anyone on the main list per se, but I do ask that everyone on the list can confirm that they'll be able to dedicate a fair amount of time to playing beta and telling us about it on the forums. I'd consider 9-10 hours a week to be fair, but more is better. ^^

I don't know, I think I'll manage. I'm trying to keep busy with Gym/Water Polo/Clubs this semester so I don't let my grades slip because I'm neglecting classes in favor of video games, but I'll try to juggle darkfall into the mix. If Xfire says I'm using the account poorly, I can always share the info with someone.

LOL! I totally agree with Derid. This has been posted years ago. When the first time beta was suppose to come out, it was set to come out in April 06, was on the beta lists but had our names taken off since we were having my son back then. Still don't want to be on the lists, I plan to wait and see. Also Rakewon on the secondary list, depending on when the game goes gold, he's still doing the desert thing and has been there about 2 years now. who knows if he'll ever come back all that fat money he's making.

Ive seen them all in vent or on the forums posting w/in the past week.

TBH there likely wont BE a clan-beta phase anymore, having been on the clan list for a long time primary or not and registering for regular beta w/Guild info is probably everyones best bet at this point period... but I maintain it just in case.

yea after AOC turned out to not be that great, I am looking forward to DF.

1. A large seamless world (like shadowbane)
2. Unique characters (no cookie cutter each class has the same skills) -like shadowbane skill training
3. Item loot.
4. In other words I hope it will be shadowbane jr.

I've been looking on the DarkFall forums, but unless I'm looking in the wrong place, I'm not seeing a KGB specific guild section. What is this?

And speaking of people doing a guild beta howto, we have to be careful about nondisclusre rules. It would be bad for future betas if we got busted for violaton a nondisclosure agreement.

I plan to be putting a bunch of time into Darkfall, and I will be sure to do my best to pass on to my KGB buds any lessons learned, if not during the beta, then for sure once the game goes public. I want the KGB to excel in Darkfall, and any help I can pass on to help us achieve greatness, I will do.

First off I notice I'm still not on this list, secondly when I go to the clan beta site I notice alot of information not filled in, I believe it may be more important to have this information filled out on the Darkfall clan beta section so that the development team can see this if we are to hope for such a invite. It seems as though I can edit this information and I was tempted to fill it in with the list that we have here, thus adding myself as well to the list but quite frankly I didn't want to do something I don't have the authority to do so I have decided to leave it as it is, empty and devoid of information on the guild other then just out web address. Hell I could even change the password me thinks, but like I said I'll leave it be and see what gets done with it.

If possible add me onto the list as well. I am keen to get into it!

The forum group more or less just lets you show KGB tag on forums afaik. I just went and added those who put in for it, like I said elsewhere - I dont check that often so I wont see it unless someone reminds me to check it.

Also, there isnt a clan beta at this point almost for certain... they are going a different route, so dont worry about getting on the guild beta list.

Originally they had planned to do a typical beta process by clans. However, now they have gone with a closed professional beta (which is what console game manufacturers do).

All in all, it means they should have a much more thorough beta than most MMOs have. They might still do an open beta afterward, but it's unknown as of yet.

They are doing a broader beta, just not a "clan beta". We also once had a clan forum thread , but it got archived years ago. Trolling for years on end didnt suit many of us.
