Hey so I started FRAPsing some footage in the hopes of making some videos. I have run into a major graphical issue one I opened up the video to view it, also the screenshots taken via FRAPs turned out... well like shit.

Proc: E8200 @ 2.66Ghz
Memory: 4 gigs (can't remember speed etc)
Video: 2x 8800 GT 512mb in SLi
OS: 32bit Vista

anyone that can help me trouble shoot my problems it would be awesome.

Thanks,
-Evis

Well I went and got Snag-it 9.0 and while it seems to take video just fine, it seems to have a flashing effect to the overall video. I am guessing this is due to the blinking nature of the way snagit functions. I'm not sure tho.

If any of you are into video capture and can reccomend some good software to use and how to use it properly I'd be thankful.

did you try different capturing at different resolutions/playing at different resolution.

1680x1050 im guessing you have a widescreen monitor?

Ive only tried capturing at 1280x1024.

If I was to make a guess here I would theorize it's your
SLI setup that's causing it. Or Vista in general . . lol
Though chaulootz seems to be running it on Vista. Albeit
on the 64-bit version. Though he is running on a single
gfx board.

What version of Fraps are you running ? I think 2.9.4 is
the latest release.

Would be curious to hear if anyone is running Fraps without issue using SLI under 32-Bit Vista.

I'm running 2.9.4 FRAPs

I was also assuming that it is either the SLi or Vista itself, just not sure which.

I dont really know what to look for to try to trouble shoot the issue either.

I suppose my next step would be to disable SLI mode via the drivers and see what Fraps does with it.
