I don't know why we're still focused on defending one side or the other when it is obvious that both "sides" have nothing but their own self interest in mind. It is becoming more and more clear to me that any career politician (and don't fool yourself into thinking Trump is anything but) only says what they need to say to keep their supporters riled up so they don't pay attention to the ways in which they are getting rich at our expense.

They are all just playing the ends against the middle to make themselves rich.

That's exactly what has been going on since forever. The media is their gadget to help them see it through. I just can't believe people are so damned worried about the White House while Congress has such a horrible job approval. Term Limits are badly needed and people aren't even talking about it. How can you have any other result than what's going on when you have the same assholes in congress for 30+ years. It's insanity to the max, doing the same thing over and over expecting a different result. When voters decide to get term limits we can start changing the way politics works and working the system to put money in their pockets. Until we begin with Term Limits we can't change anything else.
