As a person of Scots-Irish descent myself, I can vouch for J.D. Vance's portions in particular.

Isenberg's contention that Scots-Irish don't exist per-se is idiotic (I wonder if she'd be interested in seeing my genetic testing or family genealogical quilts) but otherwise she also has some decent insight.
