Turkey might be in hot water over this....still can't figure out why they would take such a risk. Why poke the grizzly bear when they know every major player in the world is flying their jets just south of them?

Looks like Turkey got agitated by multiple violations of its airspace and lashed out. I have seen several articles about Russia flying through Turkish airspace during sorties along their border but I still can't believe Turkey shot one of them down like that.

It would be interesting if US going to stand by Turkey. Potentially, this can be a pretext to kick out soon-to-Sharia failing state out of NATO.
