Why does it feel like we have a habit of shooting ourselves in the foot (feet?)?

I get helping out the SSR guys, but on the flip side, do we really need a second server? Seriously, we ought to be representing on our server (or in this case, our first server).

What exactly are we hoping to get out of this game? I can't be the only one who hates having to play on an empty server, but hates server hopping...

(Disclaimer: Everyone should definitely do what they enjoy and play where they enjoy themselves, but I feel like things are so scattered and falling apart with regards to Rust that we need to codify it somewhat)
