Hare... Your views are well stated... I am on the otherside, but think that there is still balance if played right. I have been interested in finding the right macro combos... It seems like the rate of increase from normal game play is 3x1, the macro's are just not that efficient (yet). The real gains in the game seems to come more from armor and more important PvP skills. The point and shoot style of the game makes skills play a bigger role then a GW2 or WoW style game F1-F6 game. Without auto target it makes things harder, and good communication, and use of fog of war come into play.

I love the way the role the crafting system plays in this game. Because armor plays a big role in combat, good crafters and harvesters are needed. I like the rush of having a harvesting outside the safe zome, as I hold more and more. I become the lamb meat the game should build upon. I think that they should allow the marcoers, but make then hold something of value, either armor, regs, mats so they become the hunted by active players. Think about where they hang out, and how to take them out. I like that they limited the 25 skill max in the safe zone, and think they should do more.

Another advantage to the non-marcoer is they class system they are using. If you focus on one specific play style, it will be top level quickly, where a macroer will try and cover every skill, taking 3 times as long. It seems like gaining prowess past 10k is going to be difficult, but all you need to max one line.

This game could end up like shadowbane, where getting a char to 100skill in one area is not hard. The question will be how a group of 10-20 specific skills to support one another can control this game.

I think back to the uo days, and there being minning macros to sail around hit all sides of mountain. Never did it, but remember others that did. When I went through my online poker phase, there was talk about bots being used. Macroers have always been in MMORPGS, and always will. The challenge was to see if you could beat the bot...

The heart of the game will always belong to the adventure. That is your game style, and leads to the choas chest chase. I think you have proven that this is the way to the games top wealth. 10K Hare we call you. Knowing where the key chests are kept, villiages are, and scope/scale of the game will play a key part in the success of any group.

I think that after about 1 month everyone will have at least one line at max, and that will make things more level. Or you can macro and get it done in a week. I think your game style has a place in a game like list. It is not perfect, but it is better then most. Otherwise... let me know what you find more enjoyable.
