I don't want the population to be like how ps1 is now.... Cause it reallllly sucks. I really hope they don't place too many servers . Back in day man there were pop locks on several planets at once it was awesome. It was real easy to find a fight and it wasnt just on one planet at a time. I remember waiting in line at a warp gate to get to the secondary battle. That's what I'm talking about. There is no pve content which means please don't spread the numbers SoE I want to be playing ps2 for a while.

This time its going to be continents, but meh, same premise as a planet with a single playable land mass.

It is easier to merge a server due to population then it is to set up and expand a server cluster for more servers. I would expect a larger portion of servers allotted from the beginning, while not all of them will be on the list and then as servers are locked off to character creation due to faction populations you will see new servers appear on the select list.

Scalable is very important on a AAA launch. The last thing you want is people holding in a login Queue blowing up your official boards bitching about how you suck and don't know how to launch a AAA Title.
