In that instance, it stands as an excellent movie. Starship Troopers #1 is at least entertaining. It is not as bad as Bicentennial Man and no where near the putrid essence that is Battlefield Earth the movie. Ah well..what can you do..Starship Troopers movie was so different from the book anyway..not sure it would not have survived with some other title.

Every time they make a movie of a book I have read it makes me cry. But I am sure it is true with most books. It really pisses me off when they mess with Issac Asimov books. When he was alive they make a few movies that were so bad he refused to allow any more made. Now that he is dead they are raping his corpse. iRobot was a good movie if I have never read the book.
