As to taxation - I understand and acknowledge your point of view. I see higher and more progressive taxation a necessity to prevent concentration of money and power in too few hands. When you have "mega rich" (read up robber barons) they tend to use their influence and power to change the rules. If you create taxation system that discourages such massive fortunes you reduce number of people with a real ability to corrupt the system.
