I'm 32, work as a computer programmer in Brazil, played a few mmorps, Ultima Online years ago, and AoC last year. Now I play only in weekends, because of my job, girlfriend, social life...

I'm playing darkfall about a month. I know you from Mar Shral and CotC, and I am whithout guild now, my first and last guild require participation at least a couple of hours each day, but I dont have that time, I can only play in weekends, and this caused problems in my last guild with teenagers members.

Can a casual player try membership in KGB?

I read all the rules and I can help defend the city, participate in quests and Siege on weekends. The KGB seemed one of the most mature guild of CotC. I can donate every week a small quantity of timber and stone.

I'm not a native english speaker, but I understand english. My written English is not good, but I'm improving my self and learning.

can you speak english well enough to be understood? We require the use of Ventrillo. Being able to tell other clan mates what, where, when, who, and how many are big players in communication and getting help.

It would be nice if you could play more, but we are not going to demand that you do.
You will also need to get a sponsor when you apply.

What guild were you with previously?

I understand spoken english, I can follow orders in english, I see english movies all time. But I lack the pratice to speak english, I can say: yes.. or no...nice to meet you, How are you, I can ask for help, and some other words, I'm not kidding LOL . but honestly, I'm shy, quiet and I usually try to help as possible.

On Saturday mornings, I'm taking English classes, at IBEU(Institute Brazil United States) in Rio de Janeiro.

My last guild was Head Hunters( a guild from Brazil, with only brazilians). I have no complaints against me.

My main problem is that I can only participate actively during the weekends, during the week, is AFK macro whitout disturbing anyone.

If you understand English and give basic information in Vent I'm sure KGB can make room for you, you just need a KGB member to sponsor you, fill out a application, come out to Khosgar apply in game to KGB, get on the bind stone.

well I can tell ya, most of us in Vent are anything but shy. And if you can speak up, its just more practice for you to get better speaking.

I'm pretty casual myself and new to KGB and I have found the guild to be pretty cool. I never get a hard time about not playing a lot and if I'm 'reading' the voices correctly, on vent, most of the people are adults with lives.

When I do get online KGB will always group me with whatever is happening. As far as your english goes, I stutter and noone has given me *&*% yet; all they do is make fun of my ass (drawf).

The vent requirement is mainly for easy communication ingame, if you can understand orders and then for example, type in chat if something is to be brought to attention of the officers then you should have no problems in groups.

They are just being nice until you build up enough gold and resource to suck you dry, then they make you the puppet master for a year...run while you can. (JOKE)

Ya you aren't required to speak in vent but if you can understand etc that is great.

Ok!, I understand a bit, because here in Brazil we see lots of USA movies and series in english with labels on the bottom screen in portuguese, on cable TV(I really like tv shows and series: smallville,two and half man, etcs..).
