These people become active participants in various gaming groups just for that purpose. Why would someone risk a beta slot that doesn't seem easy to come by just to tell people a game isn't ready? I'm not a fanboi, I frankly have no preference for DFO over any other game. I just want to game with everyone else, if the game is DFO, I'll play DFO. I'm just trying to throw a word of caution in here.

Though I do not doubt the game will not be "ready", no MMO ever is. Especially not one worth playing. AC was the closest thing to a decent MMO that was "ready" and even it had many many issues at launch. Lots of assorted small things and odd balancing etc.. Look at EVE, it took a couple years for that game to really become truly viable.. our best hope for DFO is that it doesnt suck technically as bad as SB did... and that the core of ppl who want this style of game stick with it and the devs do like EVE and improve the game over time not like AoC, where the devs try to sink the game as fast as humanly possible. Also, hes completely anonymous. www.betaleaks.com is trusted, they make sure a person is really in the beta before allowing them access to post on the leak forum, aka he sent them some kind of info that proved it, whether it be screen shots or whatever. If you read through you can tell he is as real as you or me. Also, before you say 'well maybe hes an employee of Aventurine then'; If aventurine wanted info out on the game, they would announce it. edit: this guy on www.betaleaks.com is not the person from the original slamming post, he came forward to shed light on the game objectively. Right now he is saying they have the server down so they can put out a new build of the game, and when it comes back up, he will answer more questions~ It is 100% reliable as far as I am concerned, if you read through it, you will see. But the thing about the melee problems in DFO, that's probably true. Not too long to wait if it's really Jan 22 anyway. Former KGB Member

The NA release is going to refer to a server setup for North America, they will already have a digital download setup~ GNI the company that will be running the servers is based out of California, so I think that is in line, considering 3/4ths of the awaiting player base is north american~ www.midmoriders.com
