Dammit, every time I see a post in the secure area of Darkfall, I'm thinking, "maybe we finally got into beta?"

they still need to make sure it wont eat shit and die like shadowbane did, cos with all this potential to be great, it has an equal potention to suck if they dont take there time making sure its just right regardless on fan base if they release it early im not goign to get it until over half a year in when most people who are goign to quit quit and i will see if it is decent or not or if it was all hype like sb was then turns out to be the worst coded game in history with exploits everywhere lag issues terrible community etc, i already see you get terrible community in any game you play but shadowbane is straight up full of douches its the opposite of most games where you have some people who just ignore you, some who flame you and then alot that will try and help you to the best of there ability, it goes, most people will flame you, others will ignore you, and maybe someone will help you with a pl but only because they think your someone in there nation but thats a rare site, and equipment is out of the question, if they rush it out it will suck

If they take too long, other games with some games with similar attraction to PVPers are going to ship and pull in the market. There's a fine line, and they've really taken a while on this one...

hell they took more than 2 yrs to release sb and it still sucked!!

i hope for you guys that Darkfall is all that it's suppose to be or there is gonna be a big ole group of crying kgb and a bunch of sad fellows.

what makes me nervous about this game is the fact there isn't much information as far as updates.

They have had like 20 articles on that one site alone. But i agree it sounds like a small company who refuses to get more programmers.

D&L is eating it right now. Totally unstable and just crappy all around.

Darkfall already has had all sorts of rumors about vaporware/too small etc.

If they have the money, theyll finish it. If not they wont, but if they do then theres no reason for them to give the game a rushed launch, or overhype before theyre ready (like so many games do).

I was hoping it would be in beta by now myself, but just because most game companies hype/release/etc as early as possible, doesnt mean DFO has too.

But like Crimthan said, if it doesnt pan out there are always other options.
