might need someone to log in for me if I can't get it running. Not sure if it's the power supply or the CPU & mother board, no power to the USB and just turns on with no beep and won't turn off with the power button I have to use the power switch in the back.

Re-seat various things in order of easiest.. GPU, any extra cards such as Video Capture, Sound Card, etc; and finally re-seating sticks of memory.

The absence of BIOS POST beeps is worrisome so try the easy stuff first.

That was the first thing I tried, after talking to my roommate it appears that the power turned off and on rapidly from the power strip coming off the socket so I'm hoping power supply but that's still 300 gonna check and see if I can still get the same model in town somewhere.

Yes, if you are not getting the Power On Self Test (POST) than its either your Power Supply or a fried Mobo, and it can be a combination of both.

Its kind of like your battery running dead in your car. First thing you change is the Battery to make sure its not the problem (after making sure its not bad connectors or the ground). Then when the battery dies on you again, you know its either the Alternator or an in-line fuse that isn't allowing your your battery to charge.

Tried another power supply same issue guess it's the mobo no money to fix this I'll pass of my account to someone I guess. To bad the game is starting to get good. Hopefully I can have this fixed in a month or two. I wish I could find where the damage is but there is so visible damage and the voltage coming out of the power supply is correct

Very small chance it could be either your BIOS is fubar or you have a bad channel of RAM that is causing the POST to fail.

Run the minimum 'set' of memory just to see if it POSTS or boots..

I had something similar and removed a set of DIMM's at the time from Bank 1 leaving the others in Bank 0 alone. It booted up less 8g of RAM but I then swapped out those DIMM's in Bank 0 with those in Bank 1, knowing those 2 DIMM's worked and it did not boot.

I had 1 DIMM out of the pair in that Bank that went bad. Replaced those pair and haven't had an issue since and RMA'ed the bad pair.

I build all my stuff so not sure your level of 'get in there and mess' you might have but I would rule out anything and everything including resetting BIOS at the jumper level and removing the cord from the wall for 10+ mins. I also had a situation where the power supply triggered a limit-relay on a brown out [much like what you were saying] and removing the wall cord allowed the system to "discharge" enough as well the PSU to "reset" that plugging it in worked first time.

Try everything.

Red CPU light is on didn't notice that earlier I broke the computer form then put it together again tried different ram in different slots pulled the battery checked it's voltage scanned for damage checked to make sure the mobo isn't shorted port much been giving did this since it went down thanks for the help still no idea what went won't do no idea what to replace o refuse to beehive both sticks of ran went bad and if they did that means there is another issue at hand.
