Some basic answers to questions regarding min requirements for the hangar and other frequently asked questions.

Hanger min requirements:


Windows 7 or 8 64-bit Dual Core CPU Intel: Core2 Duo 2.4Ghz AMD: Phenom X2 8GB of RAM NVidia Geforce 460GTX AMD Radeon HD5850 DirectX 11. Keep in mind that these are estimated system requirements and may change for the final release of the game.

Ya i have it running on 2 different computers atm.

Why? I mean, yes, the hanger is cool, I love the advanced look and almost went nuts buying more ships this morning, but all you can do is look around, buy laser cannons and such for your ships and decoration for you hanger, correct? There are not even engine start-up keys yet.

All in all, very smart move for them though, cause this thing will make anyone who sees this advanced pre-alpha piece want the whole game. I love the Freelancer.

So looks like it is all there accept for the "IOLO Crossbow" which I will bug them about later if it doesn't show up. It is a special weapon because I backed Star Citizen and the Shroud of the Avatar (the new Ultima-world game) in Kickstarter.

Super-excited about this game - can't wait to fly with you guys again!

Yah, very smart move. I am liking being able to enter and move around my ships and checking things out. How are the big, big ships, since your the only one I know with a multi crew ship

The Connie is nice but the rear half is still locked atm. The idris isn't available yet can't wait till I can walk around that.

Thanks - hoping that Freelancer buy-in would get me at least on a good starting ground, and I definitely wanted to help them in Kickstarter to make the game possible. So far they have raised over 15-million, so at least we know it will be well-funded! ;-)

I wish I could get in the turrets of my connie and move them around a bit.

Someone mentioned buying cannons and stuff. Where are you doing that? Also, I looked around the deluxe hangar for my extra rewards stuff but didn't notice any of it :'(

Buying the extra guns really isn't worth it. There rather expensive and their low grade weapons. Most likely if you lose your ship you lose that weapon so spending real cash on it now is pointless.

However if you chose to its in the voyager direct store on the website. You have to buy credits. The terminal itself to place it on your ship is somewhere in the hangar.

Earning credits becomes available at alpha by winning matches.

Mmmm....I like earning credits. I need matches to be released!

The work bench is not just fluff it has a use

the Constellation or Freelancer Variants LTI will not be available before LTI expires but there will be 2x Constellation and 3x Freelancer Variants if you have a base LTI ship with LTI then the upgrade package will be LTI when it is added to the LTI ship

to celebrate the close of LTI on the 26th they will also be selling limited numbers of LTI Idris-P corvettes in 4 groupd spread across the day

what were the prices (for orig backers) on the gladiator and retaliator. Also do we still not know specs for the M50 interceptor? IDK if I can justify buying something with zero info =(


Also, it is fair to assume that one of the two special announcements on the 26th (anyone have a link alluding to it?) is probably putting the Xi'An and Banu ships on sale.

Melting down my 325a Pledge Package for a 350r Pledge Package on my Good Guy account. Other then that I am not giving any more money to CIG until they start to show some actual core game mechanics process and stop feeding all the immersion monkeys.

Three ships is the limit for me. I have dogfighting and I have mercantile/exploration so I'm picking up the M50 (only thing I'll ditch it for is a Xi'an fighter)

Pffftt....try 3 accounts with a 4th as a place holder. Don't forget the physical GIGANTIC Anvil pad for my HOTAS + Keyboard/Mouse

I only do metal pads anymore. Can't do that flimsy stuff
