It will be unlikely to see the M50 again. They had a couple sales with it over the last several months so you probably missed out. The scythe never seeming that again for sale.

I don't recall a sale ever being announced for the M50 (and the specs/brochure is not out yet either)

IIRC the Scythe was never for sale, it was a giveaway for some contest or another, unless I missed something.

I'm really hoping they announce some Freelancer variants, since I want to dedicate that to exploration.

The scythe was on sale during kick starter only. Since June the M50 has been on sale 3 times I can confirm that since I was tempted to buy it each time. Once before the new site and once after the launch till the veteran status deadline. One other time too. It was intended to only be available to original backers. They made a few sales for it but it would be unlikely to see another.
I just prefer the 350

Purchase the lti freelancer now if you are veteran or original backer. They said you can purchase an upgrade that will allow you to keep the lti since it will not be released this year likely.

Odd. I must have somehow completely missed those.

I'm an original backer from early in the Kickstarter, just limited on funding. Next paycheck (this Friday) will secure the base Freelancer for me to upgrade when variants are announced.

I believe the cutoff for LTI for original backers is the 26th?

Ah well, I'll just have to get Scythes and M50's the good old fashioned way, and pay for insurance.

Woot! they are celebrating the first year in development with limited ship sales! every day another ship till the 27th of November. And after that even more new ships! Bought the M50. That makes my ship count at 8 now.
