please let me form the clan to get founder for the next beta wipe
i will get on asap

when is next wipe? have they fixed bank bug mor? ive been very sick but im gettin to a point where I can actually game.

Kegir stay tuned wipe is imminent and likely in a couple of days.

And the wipe is to signify the new persistance code which is to fix banks and items poofing on logout

Sweet. Are there no mats for casters this time? I haven't seen any mats required for conversions spells. I may have to grind out a Mage just to see how high I can get him.

basic spells have none and all other spells use a new reagent called dust its the only reagent you will need and it can be purchased at a npc like arrows

They could patch a lot and they say they have been working on updates so we could see game play change with the update/patch. If it doesn't here is what seems to be easy mode right now for starting off.

Finish the tutorial quest through the mount award, it's put in your bank not your inventory, be sure to spawn in away from people since anyone can grab it. After the tutorial you should get a summon to the starter town in Human lands which is likely where we will be working out of. Oh careful selling the leather in the tutorial - gotta put up "places of interest" on your map first or you fail.

Warrior is OP right now and armor is the most OP'd. One method for either warrior or elementalist is to lvl a warrior first. Chainmail makes a huge diff and you can use a staff and work up staff bolt as a warrior and take little or no damage from nub mobs. chainmail is purchased in all starter towns and is about 30g for a full set it's worth the cost.

Skirmishers get some nice dps so if your good with a bow go for it. They get 2 shots that rip through players.

Either class you start with, War/Skirm, the 1h sword will lvl both str and dex (2:1 so far). Str is important as it is hp for all classes. Staff bolt will lvl int if your going ele.

Also you can REPICK your class and change both class and spec's so there is absolutely NO restriction or advantage to starting one char over the other for endgame.

If you work up war to 70 str you can wear plate which makes you pretty tough on the battlefield. Mor was the last player standing in the siege on our hamlet and it was no coincidence he was the only one wearing plate. He walked back to the safe zone with a couple of enemies pounding on him and outhealed their damage.

Feel free to add notes here for anything I forgot.

I would advise EVERYONE to start off as a warrior and immediately grind STR to 30 and buy all 4 str boosters.
If you want to be a skirmished just use a 1-handed weapon. It will be slower but you get dex out of it.

Once you have STR up by 10 start using staff bolt or archery to give yourself a bit of range. Skirmisher vs Warrior is an even trade damage wise with bows, regardless of dex due to damage mitigation, but skirmishers has bow powers that can fuck up anyone. Salvo appears to be totally broken. its AOE is about the size of a surging toxic rain, disables sprint, ticks for 15 damage and 6 stam X 8 ticks at level one!

I will post more on skirms later. But the point is, if you want to get PVP viable ASAP, grind str, buy the boosters, then work on ranged.

We also all need to agree on a 2H weapon so post your preference

When is the wipe?

The Q&A that was posted on the 7th Tasos had said that a wipe will be coming in a few days. I personally think they will try to get it patched before the weekend, so either tomorrow or Friday would be my guess.
