All Rift did was use the WoW base and then incorporate many of the 3rd party mod options that folks found most useful in WoW.


Rift had a couple different things then WoW going on. But yes, it was a clone and WoW1.5, and SWTOR is WoW2.0.

Which is great if you like a WoW style game. Not so great if you don't.
