KGB - The Knights of Glory and Beer was formed in 1997 and has played a part in every MMO released to date. Our members prefer human (RL Humans, all races are welcome) opponents to artificially intelligent ones. This is why Darkfall is the game we have been waiting for. As of this moment (It can change at any moment!) KGB holds the city of Andruk, after recently moving from Khosgar, and is a member of the Coalition of the Chillin.

KGB has a complex functioning government and our recruitment process is complex, but ensures only the most qualified people make it in. We do not ask for tribute upon joining. Taxes are optional but encouraged. We have a diverse player base from all over the world and invite players from all time zones. We do not have a time investment requirement and invite our members to play when they want and as much as they want.

*What is a SPONSOR and how do I get one?*
Sponsorship is a requirement to the application process. A Sponsor is a member of KGB in good standing that is willing to not only vouch for you, but to assist and watch over you during your application period. Your sponsor may terminate your application at any time before you attain full citizenship based on your conduct / performance.
To find a Sponsor, just find any full member of KGB and let them know you are interested in becoming a member. You can also send a tell to JetStar deKGB in game or post a request on the KGB Oracle. You will then need to file the KGB Membership application at oracle.the-kgb.com. You would need to provide the Sponsor's name. Then you are on your way.

*What else exactly do I need to do to become a Citizen of KGB?*
Once you have a sponsor and you have created an KGB Oracle ID, you may fill out the citizenship application. Your application will be reviewed by every member on KGB who may comment on experiences with you in the past, or may have heard rumors concerning your behavior, whether good or bad. See the faction specific information in the KGB Constitution for details.

ALL APPLICATIONS, ALL FACTIONS WILL GO THROUGH THE FOLLOWING PROCESS
1) Application is posted, applicant may be added to the guild as a CANDIDATE / RECRUIT
2) The application will be posted for the Membership to review.
3) If your application is accepted, you attain full citizenship within 14 days of acceptance.

All Candidates must read and be familiar with the KGB Constitution located in the KGB Government link at the entrance page of the KGB Oracle. At all times the candidate must display exemplary adherence to the KGB Code. The candidate must disavow association with enemies of KGB, and those who do not demonstrate behavior consistent with the KGB of Honor. This may seem like a time consuming process, but it is definitely preferable to allowing a Candidate into KGB who weakens the guild with behavior below the standards we are all sworn to uphold.

*Do I really have to like beer to join KGB?
Yes, you must like virtual beer at least.

*What is expected from members by the guild?*
You are expected to obey the wishes of the guild leadership and follow the rules and regulations of the guild. We hope that you will be prepared to put guild goals ahead of your own when asked to. You are expected to participate in guild events, help with rescue missions when called upon, and aid others in the Nation to the best of your ability. You are expected to represent our Nation in a manner in which we can all be proud.


KGB is a close knit group of friends, and many of our citizens have been members for over 10 years. The process is difficult, but it is meant to be, and our organization is stronger for it.
