The second choice is good for the pet and extra month of value package.

Few things I would pass on is to get pets, as they will do the looting for you. I at first didn't think much of this until I had a few. Now I am a pet advocate. You can have 4 pets out at a time and they also give buffs.

You can buy with in game silver most of the good stuff so you don't need to spend much real cash. I have only spent 90 including the game purchase which was before they added pearl shop items in game.
