Word is that VC will be incorporated into the client at live launch and that CIG is going to invest time/resources into tools to make the VC highly compatible and mod-able.

Basically the existing software and the community showed CIG what good VC looks and sounds like (proper bitching betty) and CR sucked it up like Whimpy on free hamburger Friday.
