The caves look like tons of fun. I've only been in a few in Tennessee and South Carolina but they were amazing!

I grew up in Southwest Missouri, there are more caves there than people that have all their teeth! We lived in a cabin right next to a river and a huge pond that was spring fed. There were 5 caves within a mile, one was really close to the cabin. You couldn't go but maybe 20 yards deep into it before it got so small you couldn't crawl through it.
Once you got to the back you could hear water running, which led me to believe that there was a larger part of it further back. It had a big echo, I would like to go back with a small camera and snake it through to see how big it is.

You could walk through one cave pretty far, then it got narrow and dropped down into a crawl. But it opened up into a large room about 150 yards from the opening. There were 3 other passages 2 didn't go back very far and ended into nothing. The other one however went further back but it got so narrow we couldn't fit through. This of course was when I was a lot smaller, my cousin was a fucking stick person he was so small and he couldn't get through it.

One time I was turkey hunting on the same ridge the opening of the cave was on. I kept hearing running water, I thought it was the creek just down from me that fed into the river further down. I found a sink hole and in the middle of it was a hole about 2 foot wide and about 3 or 4 foot long. Of course I didn't just jump in the middle of it, but that was where the running water noise was coming from. If you've ever been to Silver Dollar City in Branson Missouri, there is a huge cave that you can tour. As your walking into the building, you will see a large sink hole. When you first enter the cave it's through a very large area and if you look up you can see the hole that you seen on the way in. I would suggest to anyone to go to Branson just to see the cave at silver dollar city.
