Character Transfers are now live, please take the time to look through the following text. Please note that there are a couple of changes and additions to the text that was published yesterday on the Spotlight Forum.

Character Transfer Information

Character Transfers are currently available only to players wishing to transfer from the EU1 server to the NA1 server. There is no transfer fee if the transfer takes place before December 6th 2009.
To be eligible for character transfer you must have a player account on the EU1 European Server where you have purchased the Darkfall Client.
Your character will be transferred with none of its items or holdings. These will be lost during the transfer.
Your character will retain skills, spells, quests, alignment and titles.
Your character will be removed from the EU1 server and in order to continue playing on EU1 you would need to create a new character.
You do not need to buy a NA1 Darkfall Client to transfer your EU1 Character
You don't need an active subscription on either server in order to transfer your character. You do need one to play however.
You will need an active subscription on NA1 before you can play
Your remaining EU1 subscription days can be transferred and added to your purchased NA1 subscription if you submit a ticket requesting it to EU Support http://support.darkfallonline.com/ after your character is transferred. You will still need an active NA1 subscription to do this.
Your transferred character will not be available immediately. It will become active during the next scheduled maintenance cycle and this could take up to 24 hours. We recommend you wait 24 hours before purchasing an NA1 subscription so that you don’t lose subscription time while waiting for your character to become active. We’re afraid that we will not be able to refund time lost due to transfer lag.
During the transfer period there is a special limited time offer available on six month subscription packages where you save 30 percent off the regular price. This offer is good on both the EU1 and the NA1 servers. You can read more about this special offer here:http://forums.darkfallonline.com/sho...d.php?t=220402

Transfer Process

Log into the European account management system (https://accounts.eu.darkfallonline.com)
In the online shop you’ll notice the Character Transfer option. This option is available if you’ve registered before November 4th 2009.
Select the Character Transfer Product. This product is free for the EU1 to NA1 character transfer until December 5th 2009. After this time there will be a transfer fee.
After you’ve selected the Character Transfer Product, the Character Transfer Tab will become active.
Click on the Character Transfer Tab and specify whether or not you have an account on the NA1 Server you want to use to transfer your character on.
NEW NA1 ACCOUNT: You get a form to fill in your desired account information details for creating a new NA1 Account.
EXISTING ACCOUNTS: If you have an existing NA1 account you want to use you get a form and fill in your NA1 log in details. Attention: If the NA1 account has a character associated with it, you must first delete this character before you transfer your EU character.
Confirm your transfer request by clicking on ‘YES’ at the character transfer prompt
If the character name isn’t available on the NA1 server you get the option of selecting a different character name. Once your character name is accepted, your character is marked for transfer to the NA1 Server.
Your character is no longer available to play on the EU1 Server. In order to continue on EU1 you need to create a new character.
Your transferred character will not be available on the NA1 server until the next scheduled maintenance cycle is complete. This could take up to 24 hours after your transfer request. We recommend that you wait 24 hours before purchasing your NA1 subscription.
You can purchase your NA1 subscription using the NA1 Account Management System https://accounts.us.darkfallonline.com and logging into your new account.
