Ive just got done with one of the longest semesters at FSU and thought id give DFO a shot (if my laptop can handle it).Can someone link me up to a good post or site for newbs? looking at the wiki page now. Also is this race based do i have to go a certain race at start?

you can choose any race you wish. Some races do have a further run to where our city is that others. Our city can offer you pretty much anything an NPC city has.

Get in vent and in game so that we know who you are and can get you tagged in game.

There are really no good web sites for info that I have found, KGBers will be your best source of info. Until recently you couldn’t even see the stats/tool tips on stuff you bought in the vendors.

Good luck with your laptop. I found my Dual Core 2.6 (I think I am at work and can’t look), 2 gigs of ram, a 1 gig Nvidia of ram and sieges are unplayable for me. Adjusting the settings only makes stuff look like crap.

Thanks guys i found some newb guides that helped me get started. Ya i doubt ill be able to play sieges with my 1.7 duel core but oh well still pwn people is there a skill cap in this like UO or is it just get what ever you can and work with it?

Atm its get as many skills as you want and play around with it. There has been talk of a soft cap but we don't think its in game yet. No one has seen proof of a soft cap yet.
