Desperate times require desperate measures, the phone/cable companies should be ashamed of themselves it is almost mid 2009!!!!!!!!!!! I think if a town has a phone building, it should have DSL.

Well there are actually good reasons why most places don't have a more developed internet connection. There isn't a demand for it. My University had T3. Why? Because you paid through the nose for tuition. So, you get kick ass internet. Japan has insane internet, why? High population density means more demand.

If you're in the boonies bro, prepare to have bad internet, unless you're Bill Gates and want to pipe in premium internet to your house while the town around you is still working with the Telegraph lines they got last year.
