Hey all,

Ok Im in game. Now someone tell me what kinda chars we need the most and ill make one.

I have no idea how this game works, cept ppl told me its skillbased.

So someone give me some tips nad advice on what to do.

Are there any tutorials online I should be looking at?

Most of us are Alfar. Although you could be any race, the Alfar starting zone is closest to our city (Human is 2nd closest) and Alfar have the smallest hitboxes.

Since it's skill based, just spend the first few hours doing noob quests, getting a feel for what you like and what you don't.

fuck that, I ran out to KGB city right away, because all that is going to happen to you at a starting city is that fully geared hitmen will gank you for your noob loots and try and dissuade you from playing.

I will get way more help and protection to skill up at home then at the starting cities, besides a lot of people have extra gear and go out in groups.

agreed, hopping in vent will get you maximum info in the shortest amount of time.

Lots of different ways to go with the game, but in the end everyone will be the same. Some sort of tank-mage/archer is the general skill set.

You have a couple choices really.

Starter quests in the NPC cities untagged with KGB.

Come out to the city south of the Alfar starting areas and get your tag and grind on. You can start probably by learning the basics of simple harvesting and combat by getting a couple of who are on and heading out to the Kobalds to hit the tool chest and fight a round of mobs.

Roleplaying with the Hyperzerg. Make sure when you go into one of there hamlets/cities you say "Where is your King now, Hyperion?" Watch the fun ensue.

Find a player named Ky Ky killing people in the Alfar starting areas. Then kill him and take a screenshot of you ganking him and then lorde it over Darka's head and extort vast sums of regents, arrows and gold to not make it public.

Main skills in this game:

Archery [a MUST]
Lesser Magic [lots of utilities here]
Melee skill of choice [1 handed if you want a good parry and for mounted - 2h if you just want longer range and more DPS]

That's all you really need to know. Practice your archery on the kobolds near KGB city.

I would do the noob quests to get some familiarity with the game.
