I think Thomas posted a map link in the secure KGB darkfall forum. Another decent one is on www.afraidyet.net/forums then click on the darkfall map link.

Starting locations are on our map for Alfar not sure about all the other races. It was my understanding that we now have a city so any race is okay for KGB. We all rolled Alfar to get the city now people are doing what they want I believe. I am still debating a re-roll.

If you roll Alfar there are 3 starter cities. If you start in the one to the south east you can run straight east to the city. On the main map there is a swamp looking area and then our city is about 5 mins east of that location.

After reading your post, and not seeing anything about "taking a boat" I realized that any plans on taking an island capital were scrapped, which meant it would be on the mainland. The Alfar start in the South-Central area (nagast), so I scanned the southern map and sure enough, I found the same geographic features shown on the city-capture video.

The KGB city is on or near the green spot, one Klik west of the Southeastern-most area of the Alfar (or southern poop-brown region) region or "nagast." I know this was mentioned once before, but if you look at the large map, it's broken into quadrants or "kliks" for you other military types. That is, they'd be called kliks if we can verify that each section is 1000 x 1000 virtual meters.

The Human region is just to the Northeast of the Alfar region, in the country of Mercia. So sweet, it won't be too much of a run once I finally get home and manage to secure a copy of the game for myself.

Our city is in Alfar lands, in a high traffic area. Alfar are racial enemies to all other races. I.E. if you aren't Alfar, you are a target for the masses traveling nearby. Use caution.

Doesn't look like I'll have much of a choice. Crim is Not a Dark Elf or Alfar, and to participate in guild functions and resource-gathering, I'll need to go to the city eventually.

Crim, now that we have our City, you will be able to join us no problem.
