Pretty awesome explosions!

The Caterpillar so far is looking pretty cool too. So many modules! Cool stuff.

Some people on the forum seemed worried about ship creep with the medical module on the Caterpillar as well but I don't see any issue with that, you want some creep as to not pigeon hole people into having 1 specific ship for a certain role. Also I doubt you will be able to respawn on a Caterpillar either.

The explosion effects were pretty cool, but that better not be all the accomplished in the last few months lol.

I concur. I hope they have something big. I know a lot of people on the forums said if they just show another ship concept or some mediocre stuff they will be a bit unhappy. I am ok either way as it definitely looks like they are coming along but I hope they have some milestone update for citizencon.

If it is anything less then flyable multicrew ships I will be disappointed.

Yeah, CIG's hype train has defiantly ground down to normal speed from its hypersonic levels. There are a lot of backers that are beginning to really question the final product timeline based on the released product and the rate of advancement.

There first Citizen-Con could be there last if things get really sideways and the crowd gets super chippy.

Well they just released their new CCU upgrade system and if what I'm hearing is correct. There will be some new concept military high end ship sold tomorrow. If so I won't be exactly happy.

This 2.0 sounds and looks rather polished. I'm still wondering on the delivery timeframe. The Connie redesign looks good and the space station was neat as well.

The Idris is damn huge. The amount of people to run that must be insane. That thing will be a ghost town to regular people. Not to thrilled they keep selling them via LTI in combo packages.

I was happy with what I saw. Looks like everything is coming along.

Yup the new Constellation redesign of the interior looks nice.

That Idris... looks pretty awesome. You must be a happy man. I remember they mentioned something about putting like 90 npcs on the Idris to make it feel lively. If someone just has players on it, with a basic crew it might feel empty. That little ship that comes with it is pretty awesome too.

I don't think it will be very long for 2.0 to release - they are just making sure everything is "right". Which is totally fair, given the amount of pressure all the "naysayers" are putting on CIG - just waiting for something to not go too well and scream from the ramparts.
