So if I am understanding this correctly there is going to be a sale of some ships that are currently not up for pledge during gamescom correct?
I've been through the forums and it seems people are guessing and not sure which ships will be available and if in limited quantities. Or has there been mention of certain ships being available/limited?

This debate has been going on for a while in the Sub Den over in the SC Forums. Couple of key questions are still tied directly to thrust vectoring and if there will be any actual "AMC" or just a bunch of flying turrets jousting.

Second and more importantly, is the base going to be the X52 Pro, X-53, the X-54 Rhino or the X-55 Worthog? Price point matters and SC can get people in mass to pay 1,000's for pixels that don't even exist yet, so I expect it to be pricey. Which leads back to the first question and how much advantage are you really going to have with the second greatest SC debate: HOTAS+TRACKIR+VC vs. KB&M+VC when it comes advantage when all things are as equal as possible.

Which brings up the final issue. Straight up support for Stick configurations at a basic level. At least with signing up a top tier partner they get the chance to have a high probability of success in this area. Much like they did with the CryEngine lead developer who they poached from Crysis to lead the netcode and engine development for SC.

I really liken CIG to the 80's Era 49'ers when Dabartalo was using all the river boat money to not only buy the best at every position, but the second and third best, so no one else could have them. That's how you win Titles! Unfortunatly, I hate the Niners will every bit of my black and gold heart.
