so check it out:

highest possible stat with no booster is 100
rank 40 weapon/armor stat requirement = 70
rank 50 weapon/armor stat requirement = 110

so it is impossible to "max out" in more than 1 category, examples:

a mage with health booster can wield an r80 sword but only use r40 staffs
a warrior with dex booster can use r80 bows but can only wear plate and use r40 weapons

another thing i noticed was that 1-hand weapons have a str OR dex requirement, so dex monkeys may want to go sword and board

I didn't notice the sword and board bit...

I was kinda wondering why someone would choose Sword and Board > Greatsword, but this makes more sense.

I've been trying to wrap my head around how to make a dex-based skirmisher more viable in large scale PvP. I thought about role swapping for big events but was unsure how the stat reqs and skills would play out.

I wonder if a one-handed sword raises dex or str during PvE...would make a big difference during grinding.
