Is the beta going to be an EU server? That's what I'm getting when I download at a whopping 15MB a sec.

no idea till monday they have 2 servers they could use so maybe both who knows

Has anyone fully downloaded it yet? If so how long did it take. My Internet download speed is about 25 MBPS. However I'm only getting 10-12 KBS far less than what I'm capable of getting, so obviously it's an EU server.

Remember folks that there are a shit ton of peple trying to DL thi and that Darkfall was never known for its efficiency lol

I can't even get the download to start, keep getting "Patching Failed: peConnectionTimedOut" so count your blessings for 15kb/s.

edit: I have to say it's rather discouraging that these people, after what, three years of subscription services, still can't afford proper bandwidth and working server side hardware/software to avoid these kinds of stupid issues. I had to download the lobby launcher from Morlander earlier because I tried 5 times to download it from their website and failed. Each time it would start downloading at a horribly low rate, then after 20 minutes or so the download would just stop like it was finished, leaving me with an incomplete and unusable file.

I'm not the only one having these problems. This is not good business.

This thread has links to an alternative download for the launcher as well as two torrent files for data files 0 through 12. I think there are 16 data files total, so if someone makes another torrent with the rest of the files I will add the link here.

FYI the data files go in the /data/ folder in your darkfall installation.

I got my patching completed last night at around 12am after beginning at 6pm. My rate ranged from 76kb/s to 3021kb/s. ALso the complete download is 6.12 Gigs for the darfall unholy wars folder. It will also say patching complete in the bottom left when finished.

I also wanted to mention that I received all of the following errors, "Patching Failed: peConnectionTimedOut" , "Patching Failed: peConnectionClosed" , "NetSession Closed". I just let it sit that and eventually it would re-connect and continue the download. it was one of the most painstaking processes ever..
