Im requesting new leadership for the eu server for the time being until na transfers, The clan is suffering from inactivity and the current leadership is wayyy to inactive to acomplish anything anymore.
We cant even have someone in a alliance meeting that was scheduled and it makes us look unorganized. We still have a fair amount of active players but we have no leadership so im hoping this post is read and taken seriously..

wow.. umm we play 24/7 not sure how we are mia or not around. I know last night was the first night mor and i have not been around for a few hours since July when we went camping.

I could type for 3 hours on the subject on just the overall course set in before NA but were stuck in the hole until its time to go

I Basically see it as COTP has the final say so on all activities ya we might have some pulling power but we wont be on the server for long so i'm inbetween what to do i'm all about being active and smashing etc except what to do seriously ?

On that thought and carrying the idea a step further since if we're honestly considering switching out our leadership for reasons that would ultimately alienate our current alliance since unhappy people basically want to do whatever they please without regards to CotP's standing on this server when we leave...

Our biggest complaint at the moment is inactivity overall and lack of action (even if a significant number of people are perfectly content to grind skills till transfer off of the riches of Yssam farming)... other groups are out there having more fun though with siege warfare that our current alliance is simply not engaged in. It makes more sense than continuing our current stale existence on EU under a new leadership core for all of 4-5 weeks.

If we're content - there's no need for leadership changes.
If we want change - we should go open-faction so people can go wherever they please without issue till server transfers. This way people can stay in KGB if they want to be here on Yssam chillin' out, or they can go to guilds who are doing sieges until transfers if they're bored shitless.

Anywho, just more thoughts on it. I think Jetstar is pretty much on standby mode as much as I'm wanting to be on standby mode too.

Yeah... that barely flew when vg did it.
If we plan to do similar it'll drive a wedge in the alliance and make us look like assholes in the process.

It would be different if we didn't have two holdings on Yssam, but simply enough we do have two holdings here so the mess is going to fall back on N.O. whatever we do.

I don't assume people are going to just `trust me` on this, but I've had all of the political dealings with CotP. I know how the leadership there thinks, and simply put, if we're going to start sieging with another alliance, they're going to be pissed off at us. We need to tie up all the loose ends before we just jump into it, which happens to be our alliance up here.

Well lets talk about opening up the faction until NA transfer.

maybe its just me.. but turning EU into an open faction will kill whats left of KGB on this server. I have been on NA and let me tell ya we have 0 presence there either. Many of the KGB that went over there to the "open" faction and none or very few of them actually play or do anything in game. That will happen here too if we go Open faction.

I just feel it would be a very bad move for us.

honestly open faction is about a bad idea. for those in leadership that dont want to be there step down. for darka makign a rant about a supposedly scheduled meeting the meeting was not very scheduled and to expect that people will just be online on a holiday weekend friday night is ignorant.
there is nothing going on in the game that is important enough that its got to be like omfg we didnt have someone online fri night for cotps meeting no offence cotp barely plays we have more than they do most of the time.

Retaliation was removed from the alliance last night. I have set them to neutral for us. (although I would have rather it been war cry removed than retaliation)

Yea some drama was happening in CA.. and some not thinking before acting.

I think now would be the time to get out of this alliance though.

none the less it seems a good time to maybe remove ourselves from this alliance and look for other people to ally with perhaps those with sieges we could assist with.

seems as ussual the decisions are all up to cotp who wants to do pvp as a once a week event. and not allow people to get their own cities and really do anything at all less it possibly bring pvp to their door

Simply enough, the people who are unhappy right now feel trapped by the fact that we're closed faction. They want to go out and fight and do whatever they please for a while, and KGB's name is tied up politically with the alliance at the moment.

3 Routes:

A. Stay the course - Some players become extremely unhappy and become likely to leave or stop playing because they're bored.

B. Leave the alliance - we almost undoubtedly lose our holdings and no longer have CotP to fall back on, basically leaving leadership to find us a new, less secure home than we currently have thanks to political dealings.

C. Go Open Faction - We lose some manpower who may have been considering splitting for another game anyway while not messing up any politics while being able to keep KGB active with the people who choose to stick around. I suppose we could close the doors, but that's not what I'm suggesting at all. I'm simply saying that if declared open faction, there would be an open door for restless people temporarily slip through in order to get their fight on.

Simply put, we're short staffed at our best and we have no business holding down a city+hamlet on this server right now. If it wasn't for our political agreements with HK, we would have lost it by now... but regardless, people want to go fight all over the map which will inevitably bring a fight to our holdings, which our alliance isn't really in a position to defend.

If there are some more options, I'd love to have some better alternatives, this is just what I see from our current situation , numbers, timescale.

If our 10-20 man guild isnt supposed to have a hamlet then many of the 3-5 man guilds out there who have them don't either heh

Point being is i don't really care i'm saying lets stay in the alliance and just go do whatever anyways i dont even care about the sieges i just wanna play the game

4 - we stop harvesting to macro and start harvesting to pvp. And pvp.

I'm gonna start some group or solo pvp during week days and farm for gear during the week-end / off-days. I'm not playing at darka's hours but if other kgb want to go, I think we really need it and will be usefull for NA to have some experience after the last changes.

Let's be honest : we have carebeared this too much, I'm tired of hearing people losing their regs / gear / loot, and I want to get GY and HK's loot. Let 'em farm for us.

Well I finally got bored, and moved to Aputan. I still have runes for Tiq when I afk macro (ie I wouldnt be on anyway).

But Aputan so far has been plenty for me. Right before I get up to bind, then I went west to explore and villagers got me. Then they came to aputan, and I tried even got close once but 2 vs 1 I couldn't pull it off.

Either way I was headed to Talpec to secout it out and came upon a guy who had about 600 reags total so I just decided to recall and consider myself ahead for the day.

In my opinion, stay in the alliance for macro but stay bound in Aputan, and when we got intruders stop farming and come escort em out. Mabey pick a fight with Talpec or someone too

I know darka was outnumbered today as well when I was on but I had no rune and had not bound so I apologize for that, if I am not afk can count on me to come assist now

Well it seems like I am a bit late to the topic, since we are discussing tonight in game.

But, wow if mainland Alliances knew the state of this island.... I don't even want to bring up all the crap with the Ceileys Crew and the non-hostility they had toward the Hostiles we just fought. I don't feel we have any allies in this alliance, that being said I don't think it really matters.

How much time should really put into this? Those of us that play have our routines and schedules. Are any of our current players, and let me restate "PLAYERS," going to leave? I know you got tired Jag, but it seems to me you got tired of politics. We have almost constant small scale PVP around Aputan, and great farming. With the change in skill leveling I am solo farming with Fireball and Curse Bolt. We have our win's and losses(sorry Morlander 1k resin hurts). I am kinda rambling so I am off.

gonna leave this post out of respect, as i can not confirm that i will be available at the time any of this is discussed further. and furthermore this is just my opinion take it for what it is...

but i have to concur with Mor-Lander on this. with weeks left before the transfer now is not the time to further disband would be guild members but rather a time to consolidate those who want to be part of the NA chapter. if i had my way, i would declare NA a closed faction as well and start getting everyone (who claims to be kgb) back together so that we will be strong upon transfer.

The very idea of changing out leadership seems rather apolling, and under analyzed. I came to KGB from COTP. (a guild that stabs each other in the back and uses the buddy system combined with oral copulation, when deciding who they want to promote to what positions.) from the short time i have been involved with KGB, i have been very pleased with leaderships A) availability B) willingness to listen to individual and generalized complaints, and C)ability to address things within the jurisdiction of those hearing them. revamping leadership because you feel you would stand a chance of winning a position is not an acceptably legitimate reason to launch that sort of request...

As for what to do with our time remaining, simply put the most constructive thing i can fathom is simply grinding skills... Those skills will be the only thing we can take with us. I know that its probably not what you want to hear, but i would suggest getting together with Represent (who appears to have taken the front of KGB affiliated assaults and sieges. i am sure he can conjure some work for your idle hands.

Were trying to max out crafters so we are able to make the best items in game

If we have guys that wanna PvP and i know we do heh we just are split in time when online sometimes i been crushed to play in the mornings for right now but would rather get some nights with some of the guys on then

We're gonna be discussing NA options hopefully soon the best i can ask of players is to grind out some stats and skills because NA when we are at sieges and we have people who just didn't bother to get the skills we needed them to get while it was easy as pie on NE yssam on EU-1 the time is coming heh

I don't know how Darka meant what he said but I apparently didn't take it the way most did. All active leaders do a fine job but looking around every night I see 1 general 3 captians and a bunch of corporals.
Yes different people want to do different things in game, thats how it will be no matter how many players we have or what alliance we are in, its the nature of people.
It is strange compared to other guilds our roster of ranks(never seen a major,luitenant,etc, not even a sargeant,lol) I guess its not even needed really, WHAT IS NEEDED in my opinion is people to take charge and lead groups to do these different things that everyone is wanting to do regardless of the "rank". Everyone seems to to their own little things in their own little groups(Spanyard and myself incuded) and this leaves some people out in the cold at times.
It would be nice for an officer to be on for meetings no matter how stupid they may seem, and we have just as many actives as any other clan in N.O's.
If it's feasible I could create a dummy guild with my alt not affiliated with N.O's that those of us wanting more action could bounce to when we're feeling frisky?
So long story short the few actives we have should be sticking together more and these groups should be lead by even a recruit if need be, it will make us more productive in our own right as well as a team, after all that is what we are!

Dummy guild idea has been talked about but decided not to do this.

Getting groups to go out and do things, is something for anyone in the guild to do. not just leadership.

We are starting to see some action with some sieges the past few weekends now, and things are looking brighter. I hear there might be some action this weekend for us to participate in as well.
