The KGB Oracle Forums General Public Discussion (PUBLIC) The Pub 82nd and 101st Airborne Domestic QRF Deployment

Heard this rumor today.

"report that indicates that the 82nd Airborne and 101st
Airborne Units have been put on 18 hour "stand-by" alert for
possible Domestic Deployment within the U.S. and are
developing QRF (Quick Response Forces) at this time. A
breifing with further details is reportedly scheduled for
next Tuesday, September 28, 2010.

The report was sent in by an enlisted "source" that says he
attended this briefing and was instructed that his unit in
the 82nd Airborne is included for standby for this
deployment."


If true, guessing disaster drills or something similar.
Anyone still active duty hear anything on this ?

Im callin it a hoax. From everything I can see or find, in and out, there does not seem to be a single verifiable piece of intel. But, never say never. I suggest you stay away from major metropolitan areas this week. :-)

I'm thinking along the same lines, but originally heard it from an active duty source so thought I would throw it out there and see if anyone else had heard anything about it.

I stay out of metropolitan areas as much as I possibly can, I need zero excuses to stay the hell away from Houston.

Represent is active, but from my previous military background it is more then likely a alert based on the national scale due to domestic intel or possible weather condition either way I am sure it is just a readiness exercise or drill we had them all the time.

I'll be more worried about it if they release something like this for scheduled "exercises" on the 3rd of November.

They closed down a few major highways and bridges in New Jersey and Staten Island Sunday, Monday and now again on Tuesday. Mainly between late evening till early morning hours. The NJ Transit Authority has a running message on 550AM stating they were closed for "emergency training exercises."

Wonder if it has anything to do with it.
