Well, in the beginning there were so many folks playing
that it was quite common to spend half an hour or more
just trying to get INTO the game. Treachery typical
numbers at primetime were in the 1500 - 2000 range.

In the beginning mind you. . . .

Over time the bugs, lag and general issues turned off a lot
of folks and the servers began shedding players in a hurry.
A year or so later and the primetime numbers on Treachery
had dwindled to 200 - 300. Ultimately, Treachery went
down in a blaze of glory one final night that saw the
dev's playing super-characters and the last stand of the
Covenant of Swords.

I liked ShadowBane moreso than any other pvp game I've ever
played. I just wish the developers would rebuild it to
today's standards. With today's engines and hardware
capabilities, the game would live on.
