I think it is premature to rate Trump's presidency, he is not even half finished with his term, so there is plenty room to get worse or better. Plus, however distasteful Trump's views and rhetoric are, so far he has signed only vanilla conservative agenda bills. Nothing yet remotely controversial or outright harmful was signed into law.

Plus, Buchanan is a tough act to one-up even for Trump. In my book Trump won't outdo Buchanan unless he also causes another civil war or equally disastrous event.
