Wait until the manufactures catch up with the new architecture. EVGA will have figured out all the pipeline optimization and RAM utilization by the time they have a "SC" or "Ti" stable version and solved any air flow dynamics for the non-water cooled card versions.

If you MUST have a new video card update today, the 980GTX dropped in price significantly (as they always do with a new X-Arch released) and get yourself a "FTW" GTX model with the air cooled backing plate for cheap.

Yes, I will be buying new 10x cards once the manufactures optimize the hardware to match the new architecture. Remember, NVIDEA only makes the drivers and architecture, its the card manufactures that actually put it all together in a finished good. This is why card manufacturer has almost always mattered. I think the last branded Nvidea made card I had was the 440GTS (that's 4 generations before the ORIGINAL MONSTER the 8800GTX).
