Not sure if this is something we want to use long-term, but seems pretty straight forward and usable for now. It was created pretty recently (author is German - but he made MOST of the strings in English.. still has a few that need work)

If you put in your ships and RSI HANDLE name it will also populate our KGB fleet. I named all of my ships given KGB-(whatever)

MY Fleet: http://showcase.sc-hangar.net/user/SneakyTax

Here is a link to our ORG (which will show everyone's ships)

When you are logged in - you can also view the KGB/Org as a whole (showing screenshot here)

Cool app! Not sure if some people might like displaying how much they've spent :) might feel a bit guilty haha
Posted By: Instrument Re: What's in our fleet? - 11/11/16 12:39 PM
This could be embrassing
My name is instrument and it has been 1 month and 3 days since my last ship purchase

Relapse could be about to strike
The Esperia Prowler will go on Concept Sale on Friday, November 18th during the Anniversary Livestream for the introductory price of $425. It will have LTI.
Posted By: Zhou Re: What's in our fleet? - 11/11/16 03:25 PM
I thought I spent a lot lol. With buying and selling ships not sure I want the money displayed either haha. Damn instrument still buying ships every other day :)

Pretty cool app. I expect the org 2.0 to be similar in a sense.
Posted By: Taxman Re: What's in our fleet? - 11/12/16 12:08 AM
I know for a fact that the $$ amount is completely wrong, I am going to suggest the author just remove it from the display.

I didn't spend anywhere near what it "claimed".

I hope that the "Organization 2.0" thing will provide something like this - we DO need to understand whom has which ships for planning and logistics.
Posted By: Instrument Re: What's in our fleet? - 11/12/16 12:16 AM
when you speak to the author could you also ask for a summary page that just lists a total next to each ship type?
once everyone in an Org adds in their ships when shown as individual ships is going to go on for pages and being able to see the ships that could be available at a glace could help with future planning
Posted By: Vuldan Re: What's in our fleet? - 11/12/16 11:25 AM
You guys are completely fucking insane. You can't fly but one at a time.
Posted By: Tasorin Re: What's in our fleet? - 11/12/16 03:36 PM
True Vuldan, but one of the nice things about SC is that you can let someone else fly one of the other 23 ships in your hanger if you and a buddy are going to go do X, and they only have Z, Y and A type of ships and you have 11 X type ships. To that point, is one of the reasons I stopped even buying ships to cycle once the grey market was officially shut down by CIG, cause how dare anyone make any money off of CR's baby but him.

$425? Ugh, no way I can drop more money and I'd be hard pressed to melt anything I currently have for it. What are the details on it? If anything is currently known, that is. One assumes relatively small since it is for boarding, iirc, yet it costs more than a Carrack... but it might be nice in the hangar of my Endeavor. I don't know that I can ditch exploration just for a fancy and expensive shuttle =/
Posted By: hydr Re: What's in our fleet? - 11/15/16 01:17 PM
I am guessing they will announce the details of the Prowler during the livestream on Friday. Maybe there will be some anniversary sales too!
Posted By: Taxman Re: What's in our fleet? - 11/15/16 07:53 PM
They will likely rollout the Prowler DURING the livestream and announce what the sales/etc will be. I am betting they will be similar to last year with a day being dedicated to each "type" of ship. Cargo... Military... Alien... etc...
Posted By: Tasorin Re: What's in our fleet? - 11/16/16 12:32 AM
Which drives the question, if CIG already is 100% funded for the insane degree of stretch goals and they have 2 years of overhead costs post live launch already banked, why the fuck do they need to continually roll out ship porn and then charge more than twice the cost of a good bottle of single malt scotch for the PROMISE of digital pixels in the future?

It's a rhetorical question, you know the answer already...
Posted By: hydr Re: What's in our fleet? - 11/16/16 02:51 PM
So I am curious. If the Prowler is a boarding ship (waiting for more details) and I also heard that the Vanguard is getting another variant, a troop transport version (saw a YouTube video showing it off), then what is the big difference between the two? The Prowler will have a docking collar? Ability to get right up on another ship undetected?
Posted By: Instrument Re: What's in our fleet? - 11/16/16 05:54 PM
Hostile boarding is a strange mechanic
In RL for general use it went out of fashion in the age of sail

I can only see it working on a disabled ship or a ship that has already given up in both those cases all you realy need is a ship that can match airlocks and carry troops so basicly any of them

matching courses and lining up the docking hatches is going to be a nightmare with a friendly ship never mind one that is shooting and dodging

to me the Prowler has to bring something speacial to the fight and with its high price point i am guessing it will
either some kind of inderdiction system to pull a ship out of warp or a way to disable the engines of a ship very quickly.

This ship is either going to be way over powered or usless

Still hoping that it will be a mini carrier that fires one person boarding shutles/misiles that chase down the target and burn there way into the hull and then eject the boarder into the enmy ship 50/50 boarding action/suicide
Posted By: Taxman Re: What's in our fleet? - 11/16/16 07:17 PM
The Prowler will be an "Alien Tech" ship - I think that it will be an Interdiction/Boarding craft with some sort of stealth tech. The "boarding pods" idea sounds pretty cool, similar to the mini-swarm craft from the latest Star Trek film. Certainly the days of "sneaking" up unnoticed to a ship to slip people onboard was age of sail days type thing. You can't just drive around "cloaked" trying to sneak aboard, it has to be some sort of interdiction/disabling tech to make much sense in the Star Citizen universe.

@Tasorin - Yea it is called keeping the studio/people PAID while the game is developed. Game development isn't cheap - AAA games especially, and they are working on 2 (albeit using the same engine) games concurrently (Squadron 42 and Star Citizen).

Side note: It would REALLY be nice if all (or more) of our folks logged their ships at the website mentioned above, so we can get a better idea what we have in our "fleet".

I think the new "Org" tools in the works will have some of the same features, but we have no idea when those will release - or exactly what "fleet" tools will actually be included.

Hey no worries, the large ships are certainly not going to be flying themselves! [yes]

It was a bit therapeutic going though my list of ships. It ended up that I actually had one less than I thought! I originally purchased 2 Reliant's (before they were a Kore), but I ended up turning both of them into other ships via CCU. I thought I had kept an original Kore and purchased a SEN (Research) and a TANA (Skirmisher), so I thought I had three Reliants... but looks like I don't!

You have a NICE set of ships there! Thanks for taking time to post them!

Oh god, That Prowler looks neat. I can't spend any more money at this point, and I don't want to ditch my Carrack or Endeavour into it =(

And I was a wicked good Galaxy pilot in PS and PS2

Hopefully I can track one down in game.

Yea I know... sexeh!!!

I have one in a "checkout" bin... but I am having a hard time justifying it (well other than I WANT one) - we will DEFINITELY be able to buy them in-game with in-game currency, but having LTI on a ship that may be blown up a LOT (combat drop ship) is attractive as well. I don't want to melt my Carrack or other ships for it either! So - definitely know your pain! Hehe

I can pick it up for $380 - so not as bad as I thought it would be; but still...

Edit: Ah well... I went ahead and picked one up! [suicide]

still no answer to how boarding will work [nono]
