It's like modern naval tactics in 6 DoF space. The KGB WinTrain doesn't get broke out of the box without all of it's support fleet.

Now we need to fill in the fleet with tankers and fighters for protection. Otherwise a few Retaliators may have a field day with the fleet.

For sure. I need to get a semi-permanent crew for the Javelin. Once the game is live. All the folks that didnt invest can get a permanent job on any of these ships.

This should help us massively recruit as well.

The aspect of being a crew member should help gain more members. It's a game where you don't have to put the grind into purchasing and maintaining a ship if you don't want to. You can be a crew member and take a small cut from the mission or be part of the FPS crew. I hope they integrate a good enough feature on missions and assigning cuts or guild tax of some sort. Otherwise it would be hard to maintain an Idris let alone the Javelin with the income of 1 person.

Also once the KGB shared hanger is working I am sure there will be lots of ships that people can use

I was going to purchase a polaris but I knew we would have like a dozen of them and not nearly enough crew

I can imagine that if they make engineering and other crew positions engaging enough, people would enjoy being the Chief Engineer on a javelin or Idirus.

KGB Fleet Marines is still the position I am looking forward to.

Don't forget respawns on the ol' Bammo YurHeald!

Don't know if we're quite counting Endeavour (Hope Class) as capital, but respawns are important.

I'm sure when it comes down to it. A well balanced party of ships will be better off than everyone on one ship. Repair, scout, medical, bombers, dog fighters, torpedos, and just a bullet sponge will all have its uses.

I haven't seen Hisshadow posting on here, but he has a Polaris, and several other assorted ships as well.

My good guy account has a 2 person bomber only as any crew ship. Everything else to start is snub fighter or space trucker.

My bad guy account is just snub fighters, interceptors, sensor stealthier and the M50, cause why not.
