After much consideration I regret to say I have come to the decision that I will be leaving DF. Most of you already know I'm sick and the past 6 or so weeks I haven't been doing so great. My game activity suffers alot from that and my husband has all but lost interest in DF. I like DF alot, and some day may return. That is the only reason I am not selling my account.... is not knowing if I wish to return at a later date. I like playing the same game my husband does, it is about the only thing we do together any more. I've kept him interested in DF as long as I could and I can no longer keep his interest in it. I basically only log in, gather ore, afk craft any more any ways.

I promised when I bought my house in Gul Jarnath that if I left DF or KGB or no longer wanted the cottage that I would offer it to sell to KGB first. I intend on keeping that promise. If no one here wants to buy it then I will go open market with it in which I already have some VERY nice offers for it. I am also offering to sell some of my other stuff, if it doesn't sell then oh well.

Stuff for sale + house info

Cottage in Gul Jarnath
-Vendor Booth
-Safe
-Enchanting Station
-Gold Slot Machine (100g one)
-Archangelica Garden
--Flower Pot Arrangement
--In the eyes of Nature Painting
--Mounted Goat Head
--Nifflheim Tapestry
This Cottage is in Gul Jarnath which is South of the center of agon about a 5 min ride, just north of Alfar lands about 10 min or less ride, west of Human lands a 10 min or less ride to chillbourne, south east of Elf ldands about a 15 min ride.
There are lots of nice spawns around it, it has very high traffic which makes it not only GREAT for selling stuff on the vendor but also for PvP.
Its just a few mins ride from several hamles/player cities.
There is a peace treaty among owners of houses in the village.
There are 7 vendors (mine is one) in the village.
There are 9 gardens, and a silver birch in the village.
There is an endless supply of trees, bushes and rocks surrounding the village as well as 7ish ore nodes real close to the village and an abundance of nodes a few mins walk east of the village. I gather there all the time for hours on end almost uninterrupted.
The VCP gives 595g.
Ive been offered 2 million gold for the cottage outside the guild.
Being as I won't be playing any longer I am not looking to get gold, items, or trades for the cottage but rather US dollars.

Everytime we get in a game it takes me forever to get my char built due to work and R/L things going on around here. My char ATM is no where near what I want him to be so I will be around for sometime.

Good Luck Zhen and hope to see you back or in a future game.

No full loot, I bet it is faction PVP.

Speaking of... I went back to re-activate my old Warhammer account to see what has changd. I heard from some of my old clanmates from the old guild I was in (Comrades) that Warhammer has changed for the better. The shitter of the deal is I cannot remember my account info, I had to trash some of my papers since they got wet from when the ceiling caved in at the other placed and I obviously had to throw away some that had the info on it. Which sucks, because I have a high level character that is around level 70 renown. Hopefully I can get that info back.

Well THQ is doing Warhammer Dark Millennium, different company then those who did Warhammer Age of Reckoning. That is not to say that it won't be faction based pvp, just that there is a chance that it may be something else entirely. Since Mythic are specialists in RvR Factional based pvp, and THQ are relatively new to MMOs at least so far in the fact that they have no established specialty or area of expertise. However I will agree that in todays gaming now a days it seems any time there is pvp it is always factional.
Posted By: Anonymous Re: Leaving DF for now - 07/30/10 02:17 AM
I won't mind factional if they do it right. DAoC was one of my favorite MMOs.
Posted By: Drakiis Re: Leaving DF for now - 07/30/10 05:45 AM
well I'll agree DAoC was good, the problem to me is when Mythic went and did WAR they tried too hard to out do themselves, and over complicated WAR when they could have just as easily kept it simple ala DAoC

Odd you should say that. Hubby and I played DAoC for 5ish years and left 3 years ago cuz it was no longer the game we fell in love with. There have been SO many changes in the game now. Hubby has returned to playing DAoC for now.... with him it will prolly only last a couple months but in the mean time he's been rediscovering DAoC and all of its changes lol. For the most part I haven't really been on the pc though I've dabbled a few nights with him. This was and still is (even if I don't care to play it all the time still) my all time favorite MMO (not to mention my first one lol).

That's why I didn't mention Mythic. I thought Warhammer was a failure. I miss the old DAoC.
