I set up a Google Spreadsheet with various armor scenarios on it.

It is based on an Excel spreadsheet I found somewhere, with lookups for market prices on mats .. so the total trade prices are pretty much estimated.

If you want me to add some aromor makeups, let me know via PM or here ... I can run it through my local sheet & then transpose the columns to it.

I think it is pretty nice, you can see a comparison of mats\costs\encumbrances\protections all in one shot. I added Full Infernal & Dragon, just for salivation purposes.

It looks good but don't forget to subtract out (or add back in) your base numbers. i.e. if you have 100 in armored casting then you will need to adjust the casting encumbrance number so that folks who have less will be able to figure their number accurately.

Correct ... those encumbrance values are based on 100 armor(ed) procfiency\archery\casting ... your results may vary upward if you are lower.

Does any know the encumberance damage loss in relationship to magic and melee?

I am also wondering if encumberance affects quickness and run speed?

Is there an encuberance chart somewhere?

Encumbrance affects only 4 things :
- chances to fizzle spells
- time to cast a spell
- effect (buff, debuff, damage, heal NOT visual) of a spell
- arrow damage : for each 10 archery encumbrance starting at 50, you do one less damage (0-49, no malus, 50-59 -1 dmg, 60-69 -2 etc.).

Seems like the time to knock an arrow goes up too ... but that may just be me.
