Seeking advice..
I am use to a point and Click/Tab targeting game. Darkfall is more like a first person shooter on crack! Having difficulties keeping the crosshairs on the target. Fear of hitting friendly's is a big concern of mine.
That being said, can anyone kick me down info that might help me? Be it in game option settings or a better chose of weapon for a newbie. Polearms is what I have been using.

We'll get some spare time in soon my good friend, I promise. In fact I am drawing up a idea to start a "pvp for beginners class in game"

Pole arms are decent, I would say great axe / great sword currently have the best advantages. GS has speed and reach and hits almost as hard, GA slightly faster than PA but hits harder and its powerattack is the best hands down.

I'm grinding all three
