They hired The Mercs, Mercs owned everyone and killed the Shard Holder.

The word was they did hire the mercs but not owned everyone i got reports there as good fights going on and our shard holder was really well placed by a series of skills to get where he was but they said someone teleport hacked into his spot and killed him

The shard spot we choose took about 2 hours to figure out how to get a char there and which skills were needed in a row to be used to get there it sucks i missed out but RL called

so next time hire the mercs to NOT come... we don't need their help but we don't need them on the enemy side either.
