Archer List - Archers Post here

Trying to figure out who is going what, especially as far as ranged combat is concerned.

If you plan on focusing heavily on Archery first, and getting the archery support skills ASAP - please post here.

Also, if you have any information/observations or good bow drop locs etc, feel free to share that as well. We need to build a resource for aspiring archers.

Most likely derid i will be hybrid archer/mage/2h sword and 1 handed for mounted combat.

also the two headed spawn drops 40 rank bows thats the best ive seen.

I'm going archer/healer with sword and board as my melee spec.

I will be going archer.

Archer, 2 handed swords as secondary, I have magic but only for mana to stam and maybe a few heal spells.

Going Full Archer with Bowyer (Sword and board / mana-stam,health-mana / stam pots (herb) / enhanced food (cooking/fishing): secondary)

Concentrating on leveling bowyer this entire week (skill currenly at 30), so, hopefully, will be able to make good bows soon.

Hare said that level 10-40 bows drop at the hunchbacks. (east of melachars?)

Temporary plan: Level up Bowyer by farming leather and wood to make bows. (We can 2 man scorpions for leather, so anyone that wants to, i get on at 7pm PST)

Those Arthains NE of city drop rank 40 bows. I am getting archery too, but it is a secondary pursuit to magic..

Archery, 2 weapon wielded, mana-stam, air magic, bowyer trade when I get in the game sometime in the next life time.

I am also taking the archer way

I'm in the same boat with Syloc except I'm using Greataxe as my secondary weapon.

I'll go farm whatever with you to help raise bowyer skill. I'm only at about 15 currently because I wasn't planning to use that skill, but found that I have to to keep myself in arrows.

BTW WTF is a Sun bow?!?! 20,000 gold. dear god, is it plated in the stuff?

I'm going archer as my name (Arjuna Pandava) indicates (for those that are into Indian mythology).

I was going to go Magic focused. But Magic is half borked right now, and Archery is a better solution to my problem of slide shows in major combat. I am going to be reduced to skirmish fighting on the perimeter from now on until they fix the memory leak or put up a NA server.

Archery (main) + Sword/Board + Two Handed Sword + Support Magic
